Exciting times in York for community-led housing

09 October 2019

There are a number of interesting projects happening in York at the moment, the most high profile of which are:

  • Yorspace who are looking to roll out perpetually affordable homes through a mutual home ownership society.  More information on Yorspace can be found here.
  • York Central Development which could be a game changer for community-led housing in York.  There are consultations taking place looking at how to draw together community land trusts, cohousing groups and community investment share issues.  There is an opportunity to feed into those discussions on 24 October at 4pm and you can book your place here.

York is embracing community-led housing with gusto and now is a fantastic time to get involved.

If you would like to discuss any aspect of community led housing further, please contact Laura Moss or any other member of the dedicated Community Led Housing team on 0113 244 6100.
