Community-led housing: events coming up

08 September 2017

There are a number of community-led housing events on the horizon, which demonstrates the growing interest in this sector.

We will be at all of the following events and hope to see some of you there.

Wednesday 4 October 2017: Community-led housing in Yorkshire

Anyone curious about community-led housing and based in North and East Yorkshire will be interested in this event organised jointly by North and East Yorkshire Rural Housing Enablers and the CLA.  It includes speakers from Locality and various experts in each stage of the community-led development process.  The morning is aimed at rural landowners and agents considering development opportunities, while the afternoon is aimed at community-led housing groups.  Book tickets and find out more here.

Saturday 4 November 2017: Community-led housing in North West England

Wrigleys Solicitors LLP is hosting an informal gathering in Lancaster for community-led housing groups.  More details will be announced in due course, but for now, get the date in your diary.

Monday 27 November 2017: national community-led housing conference

For the first time ever, there will be a national community-led housing conference hosted by the UK Co-housing Network and the National CLT Network.  The focus of this event will be a celebration of what has been achieved so far in the sector, and a discussion on how to scale up the movement in the future.  Book tickets and find out more here.
