In this update, Alacoque will explore the key upcoming changes in the Employment Rights Bill.
Bridging the generation gap: turning difference into stronger communication
We are pleased to be joined by Alastair Greener, a generational communication keynote speaker, author and podcaster who helps leaders to bridge the generation gap at work.
With up to four generations now working together in charities and interacting with all eight alive, differences in communication styles, expectations and experience can sometimes lead to misunderstanding or frustration. In this engaging keynote, generational communication expert Alastair Greener explores why these differences exist and why many of them are shaped not just by age, but by life stage and social change. In this interactive session, Alastair introduces a simple five-step approach to improving communication across generations. Delegates will leave with practical tools to build understanding, reduce assumptions, and strengthen collaboration within their teams and organisations.

Balancing Work and Caring for Parents: The Reality Facing Today’s Workforce
We are pleased to be joined by keynote speaker Sherry King, who supports those in the Sandwich Generation to balance caring responsibilities while looking after their own wellbeing.
Around 1 in 5 employees are balancing work with caring for parents or elderly relatives - a reality that is often hidden, and not always easy to talk about.
This session explores what that experience looks like in practice: the demands people are navigating, and the impact this can have on working life and wellbeing.
Drawing on both lived experience and professional insight, Sherry King from Sandwich Generation Support offers an honest and grounded perspective on what people are holding, and what this means for workplaces today.
