Case Details
An attorney who took almost £80,000 from his aunt’s bank account while failing to pay her care home fees and buy her clothes has been removed by the Court of Protection.
Colin refused to produce accounts to show what he had been doing with Alma’s money. Over the two and a half years he had access to her funds he spent less than £10 per month on her allowance. Alma had to wear old, worn clothes from other care home residents who had died and wasn’t able to have podiatry treatment or have a CD player, despite her love of music.
