About The Webinar

Please note this webinar has already taken place.

Having the right trustees on board is vital for the continued success of your charity. This session is intended for trustees, company secretaries and senior leadership teams (chief executives, finance directors and HR directors). We will give you a lot of practical guidance about how to proactively attract, recruit and retain good trustees, including candidates from underrepresented backgrounds, as well as covering the legal do’s and don’ts. The programme will cover eligibility and checks, creating a skills matrix, the appointment process, induction and ongoing training, to re-appoint or not to reappoint?, maintaining a cohesive board and what to do if things go wrong.

We are delighted to be joined by Sophia Moreau from Getting on Board, who will be providing practical advice on adapting your board and attracting trustees with the right skills to strengthen your board.

Please send any questions ahead of the webinar to events@wrigleys.co.uk
