Empowering Cathedral Chapter Members to be Successful Charity TrusteesOnline Workshop Series: Workshop One

Thursday 30th September, 2021 |
Joining instructions to follow from our events team 3 days before the event.

Free to attend

Under the new Cathedrals Measure, Cathedral Chapters are going to be regulated by the Charity Commission and subject to charity legislation for the first time. Is your Chapter ready? Does everyone understand what being a charity trustee involves?

Our Charity Law team members Sylvie Nunn and Claire Taylor will be hosting an online workshop to explore these new responsibilities and to provide a forum for Chapter members to ask questions and share experiences.

The workshop will cover:

•    Chapter member duties as charity trustees
•    Conflicts of interest
•    Effective decision-making

This is a series of workshops we will be hosting for Cathedrals and so please keep your eye out for future events.

This online workshop is free to access for chapter members and senior leadership teams of cathedrals only.
