Keeping up with the changesAn employment law update for cathedrals
This workshp is free to attend
Employment law is constantly on the move and evolving through legislation and case law. In addition to the legal developments most employers have come to expect, the place of work and expectations of employees have also changed rapidly over the past couple of years. Recruitment can be tricky as employees re-align their priorities and cathedrals face many other challenges in deciding how to manage their staffing requirements after the experiences of the pandemic. We will explore these issues in the context of the lay staff working within cathedrals.
This session will cover the following topics
• What's happening in employment law - are you compliant? A reminder of the recent changes in the law and what you need to do to comply
• Remote, hybrid, and flexible working - what does the law say?
• Working towards an inclusive and equitable workplace - what does this look like in a cathedral setting?
This is part of a series of workshops we are hosting for cathedrals and so please keep your eye out for future events.
Please feel free to share this with your chapel members.
