Areas of practice:

Having worked in the pensions industry for nearly twenty years, Louise joined the firm in November 2018 after spending four years working as a professional trustee for Steve Southern Trustees Limited.  Prior to that she completed her training contract and spent a number of years in the pensions team at Squire Patton Bogg (formerly Hammonds).  She has also previously worked as an independent financial adviser and for a number of major insurers.

Louise now advises trustees and employers of occupational pension schemes on all aspects of pensions law.  This includes - the interpretation, updating and amendment of scheme rules; advising on scheme wind ups; advising on guarantees and other contingent assets; and buy-ins and buy-outs.  With a background in independent trusteeship, Louise also has significant experience in scheme governance issues, Trustee Knowledge and Understanding requirements and liability management exercises.
