Join us for an informative and topical discussion, where we will explore how community-led organisations can play a pivotal role in the ownership and management of land for nature recovery.

Our discussions will focus on key themes such as:

Nature recovery
Community-owned, community-led initiatives
Net biodiversity gain
Zero carbon / net zero goals
Conservation covenants

This event will provide an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and organisations committed to sustainable and community-driven approaches to land management.

Our speakers

The event will be facilitated by Laura Moss of Wrigleys Solicitors and speakers include:

Janet Cobb from Middle Marches Community Land Trust, who will join us to explain the work they have been doing;
Emma Ridge from Wrigleys Solicitors, who will discuss BNG trading and conservation covenants;
Nick Hall, nature recovery ranger from Lake District National Park Authority, to give the planning and local authority viewpoint; and
Tom Chance, Chief Executive of Community Land Trust Network, who will discuss the role that CLTs might play in all this
