Susannah Allen

Areas of practice:

Susannah works in the Rural and Agricultural Property team, acting for private individuals, estates, landowners and commercial entities on a broad range of agricultural, commercial and residential property matters across the rural sector. She has a keen interest in natural capital projects, particularly biodiversity net gain from a landowner’s perspective.

Susannah’s work includes but is not limited to:

• Acting on the acquisition and disposal of farms, land and estates (including those with commercial and residential holdings)

• Managing the grant and surrender of commercial and agricultural leases

• Advising on intra-family transfers

• Dealing with the grant of easements and licences

• Advising on overage agreements

• Applying for first registration of unregistered land

Career:

Susannah is based in our Leeds office and qualified as a solicitor into the Rural and Agricultural Property team in 2024. Susannah graduated with a Law degree from the University of Bristol before undertaking a Master of Philosophy at the University of Cambridge.
