Areas of practice:

Caroline trained at Wrigleys and qualified as a solicitor in 2014. She has since built up a practice advising on charity and commercial property matters.

Caroline acts for charities, faith-based organisations, and community groups on property-related matters, such as:

  • Sales, purchases, and leases of all kinds.

  • Charity law compliance in property transactions, including statutory restrictions, required authorisations, and procedural steps.

  • Advising on complex title issues, including historic ownership, special trusts, and permanent endowment.

  • Property transfers arising from charity mergers or incorporations, including portfolio reviews and transfers.

  • Community asset transfer leases from local authorities.

  • Supporting churches of various denominations with property management and governance considerations.

In the commercial sector, Caroline has a particular specialism in advising train operating companies on a wide range of property matters, including:

  • Retail letting portfolios.

  • Station and depot leases across the rail network.

  • Leases of office and operational property from commercial landlords.
