Laura Moss is a partner in our charities and social economy team.

Laura advises a wide range of charities, establishing new entities, merging existing ones and advising on constitutional changes, trustee duties, vires issues, trustee disputes and more.

As well as core charity work, Laura has a particular interest in social business, working with organisations which have social values and purposes at the heart of their corporate structure.  This includes social enterprises, co-operatives, B Corps and employee-owned organisations.  Her interest in ESG extends to academia, having completed a Masters dissertation on B Corps, evaluating their effectiveness as a means for businesses to hardwire corporate responsibility into their governance and reporting structures.

Neil Mackenzie is the Chief Executive of Leeds Beckett Students’ Union.

Neil Mackenzie is the Chief Executive of Leeds Beckett Students’ Union, in this role he recently led the development and implementation of  a new strategy for the SU based on the principles of community organising, including a complete redrafting of the Articles of Association & Bye-laws that govern the organisation. Neil has previously been a senior manager at Sheffield Students’ Union, Leeds Trinity SU and Bradford College SU, starting his career in Students’ Unions as an elected officer at Leeds University Union. He holds a BA(hons) in Politics & Parliamentary Studies and an MA in Activism & Social Change, both from the University of Leeds.

Amy is the CEO of London South Bank Students' Union.

Amy is currently the CEO of London South Bank University Students' Union having worked in post 1992 University Student Unions since 2016. Prior to this she had an extensive career working as an HR and Organisational Performance professional within the Education and Social Care sectors.
