Position: Managing Associate

Areas of practice:

Will specialises in a mixture of agricultural, commercial and residential property work for landed estates and farming clients. Will's work includes but is not limited to:

  • Buying and selling agricultural land, estates, grouse moors, residential and commercial properties for individuals, partnerships and companies;

  • Advising on and drafting overage and pre-emption agreements;

  • Drafting tenancies agreements including Farm Business Tenancies, 1954 Act, Assured Shorthold Tenancies etc;

  • Acting for the Bank and the Borrower on a joint or separate basis for purchase and refinancing transactions;

  • Providing day to day advice to estate managers and landed individuals who often uncover all manner of unique and interesting problems;

  • Applying for first registrations of unregistered land; and

  • Providing property support for colleagues in other departments and also lawyers at other firms as and when required.

Career:

Will qualified as a solicitor in 2018 at a large regional practice in East Anglia and then joined Wrigleys in 2021 as part of the Rural and Agricultural Property team. His promotion to the role of managing associate in 2024 further builds on his professional growth and highlights his significant contributions to the team.
