Solicitors at Wrigleys achieve family business qualification

October 2016

Thomas Wainman and Oliver Hallam have been awarded the 'STEP Advanced Certificates in Family Business Advising' after passing with distinctions.

Thomas Wainman (solicitor) and Oliver Hallam (partner) are both members of Wrigleys Family Business team advising family businesses, shareholders and entrepreneurs on a wide range of strategic and legal issues.

Thomas comments: "The dynamics of family businesses are very interesting, in particular balancing the priorities of multiple generations of a family and managing the succession of management and ownership.

The course provided an opportunity to build upon the skills, knowledge and experience that we have in this area."

The course involved a 2 day workshop led by an industry expert and a written assignment.

Oliver adds "As lawyers we undertake professional development courses throughout the year, but this course was particularly interesting and relevant for the work that we do with family businesses."
