What led you to apply to Wrigleys for your role?
I spent ten great years working for a multi national law firm, but I wanted to work in an environment where I felt I could have a say on the direction and future of the firm. Your voice, whatever your job title, is truly respected at Wrigleys!
What would your advice be to somebody considering whether to accept a job offer at Wrigleys and why?
Make sure you fully understand the culture of a firm and are bought into it. I'd once assumed law firms were much of a muchness, but that's really not the case. Wrigleys offers a genuinely pastoral and supportive environment that other firms profess to have in theory, but fail to offer in practice.
What sets Wrigleys apart from other places that you have worked?
Wrigleys is unique in terms of successfully balancing some of the "softer" elements mentioned above, whilst at the same time maintaining a magic circle reputation for excellence in the work it does and the clients it has.
How would you sum up working at Wrigleys?
Don’t think we're just all about Leeds and Sheffield. We greatly value the work we do for clients in Yorkshire and the surrounding areas, but we work all across the country and beyond. The work I do in the Charities and Social Economy team means that I am often working with clients and other professionals around the world.
