We were very pleased to be nominated again as best trainer in the small firm category of the 2010 Training and Recruitment Awards.
Wrigleys takes a limited number of trainees, usually one or two each year, who have a genuine interest in working with private clients, charities or pension schemes. Training usually takes place in our main office in Leeds.
Your Training Contract
You would spend six months working in three of the following areas:
Litigation - Since we do not conduct litigation, we arrange the secondment of trainees either to another firm in Leeds or to Leeds City Council and you would do your litigation training at one of these, though still employed by Wrigleys.
The next available training contract will begin in September 2012. We are not interviewing this year. Interviews for trainees for 2012 and 2013 will take place in 2011. Please apply by sending your CV with a covering letter to Mrs Valerie James at the Leeds office, preferably by post, to arrive by 29th July 2011.
Early applicants will be considered for an informal work placement prior to the possibility of interview. Please note that all work placements available in 2010 have now been allocated.
Qualifications
Enthusiasm for one of our specialist areas of work, a good academic record and an ability to get on with people are the most important qualities. If you have (or are expecting) a degree, not necessarily in law, of class 2:1 or above backed by good 'A' level results and are interested in working in any of our specialist areas, we would welcome your application.
